CULTURE DAYS 2021

Join people across Canada in celebrating this year’s CULTURE DAYS! Hundreds of free events and programs are being offered, both in person and online, from Sept. 24 to Oct. 24, 2021 to recognize our arts, culture, and heritage communities.

LOCALLY:
The Maple Ridge Museum has partnered with the City of Maple Ridge, the Maple Ridge Public Library, the ACT Arts Centre, and other great community groups to create ‘take and make bags’ full of engaging craft activities for families.

Do you have one of those bags? Pull out the Museum’s paper doll activity and get inspired by watching this fun video! (Don’t have a grab bag? No problem! Click the link below the video to download a print-at-home activity sheet.)

Also, be sure to visit our museum exhibit at The ACT Arts Centre between September 11th and November 20th to learn about the fashion trends in Maple Ridge during the 1920s and view some beautiful fashion items! More information can be found here.

NATIONALLY:
Looking for more cultural immersion? Visit the Culture Days homepage to search for other activities near you! Due to the ongoing health crisis, both in person activities (with safety protocols) and virtual offerings have been encouraged. You do not even need to leave your home to explore some amazing exhibits and programs across the nation!

Haney House may be closed due to staff shortages. Please see our social media for updated open hours.
