JOIN OUR VOLUNTEER TEAM TODAY!

We are always looking for dedicated volunteers to help us preserve history,
engage the community, and expand our programs.

Volunteers at Maple Ridge Museum and/or Haney House can do a wide variety of tasks, depending on their interests.

Museum Tours – Volunteers open and close the museum(s) and give tours to visitors. Currently we are looking for volunteers to help us keep Haney House open to the public. Volunteers will need to commit to at least six months of volunteering, approximately one six hour shift a month on Sundays. If you are interested, please fill out this form.

Programs and Events – Volunteers help prepare for and facilitate events such as Music on the Wharf and family fun days at the museum. A typical shift is approximately four hours and volunteers are contacted as needed. If you are interested, please fill out this form.

Research, Archival, and Collections – Volunteers assist with scanning and digitization, collections management, research, and re-housing archival materials and artifacts. Shift length and frequency are flexible, but a regular commitment is preferred. If you are interested, please fill out this form.

Headstone Preservation Project – Headstone Preservation Project dates are announced in the spring. If you would like to be contacted when registration is open, please email mrmeventplanner@gmail.com.

If you are a youth volunteer, 18 years or younger, please have a parent or guardian download this consent letter. Page 2 should be completed by your parent/guardian and it can be scanned & emailed to mrmeventplanner@gmail.com or brought with you to our first meeting.
